Fiminox is contributing to the reconstruction of the Morandi Bridge, in Genoa, by supplying components to the companies that are working on the project. Since the dreadful collapse of the bridge on the 14th of August 2018, the steps forward in the rebuilding project, have been characterized primarily by the demolition of what was left of the old viaduct in June 2019 and the laying of the pylons at the rate of about three per month. At the end of February 2020, all 18 pylons were completed and the spans, flooring and steel parts are now being posed. The Highway is expected to be reopened in late May 2020.
🇮🇹 Fiminox sta contribuendo alla ricostruzione del Ponte Morandi di Genova fornendo componentistica alle aziende che stanno lavorando al progetto. Dal crollo del ponte avvenuto il 14 agosto del 2018, i passi avanti nel progetto di ricostruzione sono stati caratterizzati innanzitutto dalla demolizione del viadotto nel giugno 2019 e nella posa dei piloni al ritmo di circa tre al mese. A fine febbraio sono stati completati tutti i 18 piloni e si sta ora procedendo con la posa delle campate, della pavimentazione e delle parti in acciacio. La ripresa della viabilità è prevista per la fine di maggio 2020.
